REPORTS TO FIELD SERVICES SUPERVISOR

Work safe and promote safety to report any unsafe condition and acts
Machine Availability, MTTF & MTTR reports
Conduct monthly Solid Head Boom Inspections, Operational Performance, Maintenance Inspections & General Machine inspection on all machine involved with for the day. (1x Solid head per machine per month, 1x Performance check per machine per month, 1x Maintenance report per machine per month and General reports per machine per month)
Conduct Pre/Post Delivery and Commissioning inspections, Defects & Deviation on Joy equipment, 30 day’s Flawless start up. Ensures successful implementation of Komatsu equipment
React pro-actively to possible warranty claims on Joy equipment, by promptly submitting accurate information and supporting documents.
• MCA support and organising inspection on mine, all MCA are to be driven by the Field service to ensure that the preparation is done to a good standard.
• Write clear, detailed and accurate Field Service reports (Factual Reports) on all breakdowns & Engineering Reports. (Only submit signed reports to Joy)
• Submit information required on: Sub-Assembly Failure, Data capture (Report reference, Component Tonnages & serial Number specified, removed and installed), Machine population & Tonnage’s to Support the organization forecasting and provides information for component life expectancies and other relevant documentation as required.
• Field Service timesheets to be submitted timorously and fully completed. Weekly. All Leave, contracts, travelling and overtime documentation needs to be submitted timorously and fully completed. All service entries at mines need to be completed before handed in, Monthly (All these documents are to be managed and followed up upon by the field service that performed the Work/Duty)
• Field service Monthly tonnages file to be updated after changes and submitted monthly to the Supervisor and B.U. Manager
